Bo Bezdek Builder, Inc. is a custom home builder based out of Austin, Texas. One of our specialties is building luxury homes and performing period restoration on some of the fine older homes in town. We can be the guiding hand in the creation of your dream home!
A large portion of the work we do involves remodels and additions. There are many older homes in the Austin area which, while being well constructed, are in need of updating or re-sizing to fit a growing family. We can handle anything from a small kitchen remodel to a grand addition and total renovation. No project is too large or small for us to consider.
Commercial construction is another area where we excel, and shows the true diversity of our company. From tenant finish-out of office or restaurant space, industrial warehouse construction, to multi-family housing… We have done all of these types of projects. Because the building business is cyclical, it is almost a necessity to diversify your company in order to stay busy.
The vast majority of our business comes from referrals. We have been able to achieve our referral status by insisting on impeccable customer service, fostering long term relationships with our clients that often extends beyond our project, and through maintaining contact with our homeowners to take care of all of their present and future needs. Taking care of our clients is worth far more than any sort of advertising we could buy.
We have over 30 years of experience in the building industry, and we have become a full service builder by accumulating valuable resources to aid in real estate selection, purchase, lending, title work, planning, design, and contracting. Our subcontractor base is also the finest in Austin. We share our group of Austin’s finest craftsmen with a handful of the premier builders in town. Our clients get to know and trust our craftsmen and often commission them to do specialty work long after our project is completed.
Probably our greatest asset is that we deliver! We understand and create exactly what our clients and designers have envisioned, and frequently the end result exceeds expectations. Through hard work and a passion for what we do, we strive to meet all end goals, including successful completion on time and on budget. Perhaps a client has a specific date they must have their home completed by, and a long spell hard rain threatens to delay the project, we would meet with our client to determine what steps we can take, from re-sequencing the building process or even covering the project with a tent, in order to circumvent the potential delay. That level of dedication to our clients and our projects is not easily found.
Another one of our strongest assets is the personal service we provide for our clients. One of the things we hear often is when someone is interviewing potential builders and they find one they really like, when the project begins a superintendent they never interviewed is running the job, and the builder they interviewed is never around. There are many builders like this, the ones who are there for the sale. When you hire us you get what you expect, our time. We personally oversee our projects and we spend time meeting with our clients at the site rather than in an office. We build fewer projects at a time than most companies, and this allows us to provide our clients with a much more personalized experience. On some of our past projects we have made agreements with our clients to construct their project exclusively, and not to accept new contracts until their homes were completed. While that is not typically the case, we usually only have two projects concurrent at any time, and we rarely have three.
With our extensive knowledge of Austin and the real estate market in particular, we have also reached out and developed some very select land development projects. We always keep our eyes open for amazing properties before they come on the market, or land which may have been overlooked by others in an area where we see future growth headed. Most of what we have found is to the North West along the highland lakes chain, and we are always interested in waterfront properties.

Bo Bezdek
Bo is from Austin and is a 3rd generation builder and native Texan. He grew up on construction sites working for his father’s home building company, then founded his own in 2002.
Bryan Murphy
Bryan is also a native Texan originally from the Dallas area, and he moved to the Austin area in 1995. Bryan brought his company’s experience to work alongside Bo Bezdek Builder helping provide complete oversight of ongoing projects.
